Social and Emotional Learning
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is an integral part of education and human development. SEL is the process where adults, children and youth acquire and apply knowledge, skills and attitudes to:
- manage emotions
- achieve personal and collective goals
- feel and show empathy
- establish and maintain supportive relationships
- make responsible and caring decisions
SEL has the opportunity to advance educational equity and excellence.
