Q1.  What minor games or activities would work best for my grade level?

A1.  All of the minor games and activities can be modified to suit any age group.  The minor games videos are meant to give you an indication of how the games can be played.  Changing the equipment used, modifying the rules or adjusting the distances are all ways to modify the games or activities to suit different age groups or ability groups better.


Q2.  My class is interested in creating a video of our favorite game, will you put it up on the website if we send it to you?

A2.  I am happy to add resources to this website and would welcome additional games or activities.  If you would like create a video with your class please keep a few things in mind:

  • The minor games videos are designed to focus on a specific fundamental movement skill.  Please list that FMS at the beginning of the video.  Use the minor games videos that are on this website already as examples. 
  • The video should be 60-70 seconds maximum in length.  
  • You must have permission from the parents of any students in the video to post it to our Surrey website.
