Message from Vice Chair Gary Tymoschuk & Supt. Mark Pearmain: Thank you to our school communities for a great school year!
As we approach the end of the 2022-23 school year, Surrey Board of Education vice-chair Gary Tymoschuk and Surrey Schools Supt. Mark Pearmain have prepared a video message to express their gratitude to parents, students and staff for another incredible year.
“You have all had a very profound impact on the growth and success of our schools this year,” said Pearmain. “Our students are at the heart of everything we do, and it’s because of your collective efforts that we have continued to create a strong foundation for the future success of our students.”
“I am so proud of the collaborative spirit and unwavering commitment to our students’ education that has defined every one of our school communities,” said Tymoschuk, who also addressed the ongoing need for more school space as more families move to our district. “Our board will continue to advocate for our students and ensure we can meet the needs of our growing community. This is a priority for us.”
Written transcripts of the video are available in English, Punjabi, Chinese, Arabic and Spanish and captions/subtitles for each language are also available by clicking the ‘CC’ at the bottom right of the video.
Have a great summer break!
