Parents, staff invited to anti-ableism workshop
Parents, guardians and district staff are invited to a workshop hosted by Surrey DPAC called How to be Anti-Ableist in Education.
Organized by DPAC’s Inclusion of Diverse Learners Committee and guided by BCEdAccess, the workshop will define and explore ableism in the B.C. education system and discuss what it means to be anti-ableist and how to address ableism in our schools and communities.
The workshop takes place Thursday, June 9 at 7 p.m. and is open to district parents and staff. (click on the poster to enlarge)
