Objectives & Outcomes
The IB Diploma Programme requires three higher-level courses and three standard-level courses.
At Semiahmoo, students are guided along three different pathways. These three suggested course combinations are organized into three different areas of study: Natural Sciences, Life Sciences, and Humanities.
In order to receive the IB Diploma, besides the recommended pathways, students must complete core elements – Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Extended Essay (EE), and Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) Program, which are compulsory and central to the philosophy of the programme.
