Graduation Information
Graduation is an exciting time for both students and parents.
If you did not get a chance to attend the Grad Parent Night on October 15, please see the presentation document below for important information regarding graduation, post secondary applications, scholarships and grad events.
Please look for the grad newsletter in the spring for all the latest information about the Graduation events, dates and deadlines. If you have any further questions, speak to the office or Ms. Christensen.
What is Dry Grad?
- The Dry grad event is an after-grad celebration in a safe environment, supervised by parents, that is free from drug and alcohol use. Dry grad parties typically offer an exciting and absorbing variety of fun activities, compelling entertainment, and valuable prizes, in order to entice graduates and their guests to attend and experience a fun time. Dry grads demonstrate that a great party — at any time — doesn’t need drugs and alcohol to be fun.
- Dry Grad is parent organized, run and chaperoned.
- Dry Grad 2024 occurs the night of Saturday May 24, 2024, into the morning of May 25, 2024.
All Grade 12 parents are welcome to attend the dry grad meetings. There are lots of opportunities for parents/guardians to get involved and all types of support are welcome. You can reach out to the Dry Grad committee at nssdrygrad2025@gmail.com.
