Kindergarten lottery applications open Jan. 29-Feb 16
Online applications for the lottery for select 2024 kindergarten programs at Surrey and White Rock elementary schools open on Monday, Jan. 29.
Lottery applications for kindergarten programs open Monday, Jan. 29 at 9 a.m. and will be accepted until Friday, Feb. 16 at 4 p.m. The Programs of Choice lottery system is for students hoping to enter the Early French Immersion, Montessori, Intensive Fine Arts, Traditional and EKOLogy programs in September 2024.
Parents and guardians have a three-week window to apply between Jan. 29 and Feb. 16. Once the online application process has closed, a random automated draw will take place between Feb. 21 and March 10. An email with the lottery results will be sent to all applicants during the weeks of Feb. 21 to March 10, when parents can accept, decline or be placed on a waiting list.
