The Kwantlen Park Physical Education Department provides our students with a fun and secure environment in which they can learn skills and develop attitudes that will enable them to lead a healthy and active lifestyle. Along with meeting the Ministry of Education learning outcomes, a major focus of our program is to teach fitness and fitness related activities. As part of the fitness program, our students take part in a twelve-week 5 km training program. The final 5KM race is completed during the last three weeks of the semester. This program has been met with much enthusiasm from both staff and students as our students get to experience the rewards of setting and reaching a goal and the joys of meeting personal bests.
