Literacy and Numeracy Assessments April 7th and 8th - Mandatory Catch up Literacy Assessments
Next Monday and Tuesday we are having a catch-up session for grade 12 students who have missed a provincial assessment either in grade 10 or in semester 1. If you are currently taking English 12 you will be writing the Literacy 12 Assessment in June. Ms. Reeve has emailed families and students with details about the assessments. Please check your student email. Additionally, Ms. Reeve is sending messages via Teams to all students who are required to write an assessment (check Teams messages). If you think that you've missed an assessment but did not get an email or a message from Ms. Reeve, please contact your counselor or vice-principal.
This will be the only opportunity to complete your catch-up assessment this year.
All students who are graduating with a Dogwood diploma must complete the following 3 Assessments in order to graduate.
- Literacy 10
- Numeracy 10
- Literacy 12
Below is the schedule for next week.
Monday, April 7 - Literacy 10 - 12-3pm - library
Tuesday, April 8 - Numeracy 10 - 8-11am - library
Tuesday, April 8 - Literacy 12 - 12-3pm - library
These assessments are not worth marks but note that many universities look at your Literacy 12 Assessment for entrance. You can't really study for these tests but if you would like to review the format of the assessments, please see the links below.
