Semiahmoo Trail

In May 2025 we opened a 10 classroom expansion. This part of our school also includes an impressive social staircase and cozy reading knook. Although portables remain on the site they are not currently used as classrooms. Join us in Instagram @semiahmootrail

Semiahmoo Trail is located in a truly beautiful and unique suburban setting in South Surrey. Our school is bordered on two sides with urban forest filled with inviting paths and walkways. There is also a farm where students often see sheep grazing in the fields. We also have 3 playgrounds, a large field, multiple 4-square courts, a gaga-ball bit, basketball court and many open play areas. 

We have approximately 450 students enrolled at Semiahmoo Trail and many staff members that have been a part of the team for well over a decade. Our committed and supportive PAC helps maintain annual events such as Jog-a-thin and truly make our school feel like an inclusive community. 

We provide a rich offering of learning opportunities in the areas of academics, athletics and the arts, including the following:

• school spirit days
• leadership opportunities such as our restorative action team, global citizen leadership team, morning announcers, technology crew and lunch monitors. 
• well represented soccer, cross-country, basketball, volleyball, and track seasons
• a variety of lunch activities including garden club, chess, intramurals and knitting
• running club (April) and weekly school community runs
