🔍 Please review your schedule carefully

Before submitting any request for changes, we ask that all students take time to review their timetable thoroughly and ensure that a change is truly necessary. To request a course change, please fill out the following form: Course Change Request FormPlease note, as we are in our third year of an extended day schedule, we have more classes at the Grade 10-12 level that are in Block E and fewer in Block A. We are not able to guarantee a particular schedule and cannot have students brought out of a particular block as there may not be classes available in another.

Valid reasons for a timetable change

Requests will be considered if they meet one of the following criteria:

  • A course has already been completed in summer school
  • A prerequisite course has not been completed (e.g., Math 11 without Math 10)
  • Courses are scheduled in the wrong order (e.g., Physics 12 before Physics 11)
  • A required course for graduation or post-secondary pathways is missing

If your request meets these criteria, please submit the Course Change Request Form, which will be available after 4:00pm on August 26th. If additional information is needed, school staff will follow up with you via Teams—please ensure you are able to access your Teams account.

🚫 Requests that are not eligible for a timetable change:

  • Teacher preference
  • Requests to be in the same class as friends
  • Requests for specific blocks or times
  • Requests related to A–D or B–E schedules
  • Elective change requests at the Grade 8 or 9 level

As part of our extended day model, we offer more E block classes and fewer A block classes. As a result, movement between blocks may be limited.

⚠️ Important reminders

Timetables may continue to shift as we balance classes and adjust course offerings. Submitting a request does not guarantee that a change can be made. When reviewing requests, we consider:

  • Class size
  • Overall class composition
  • Balance across courses and programs
