💬 Welcome to the Math Department!
At our school, students develop a strong foundation in numeracy beginning in the junior grades and have the opportunity to advance to university-level mathematics in the senior years. Our comprehensive math program is designed to build confidence, encourage problem-solving, and inspire curiosity about how mathematics connects to the world around us.
Our dedicated team of teachers works collaboratively to create engaging lessons that meet students at their level and help them reach their full potential. Through hands-on learning, critical thinking, and consistent support, we strive to ensure that every student experiences success in math and feels prepared for future academic and career pathways.

Grade 8
Math 8 (MA 8)
In Math 8, students develop their ability to reason, analyze, and communicate mathematically while exploring concepts such as number operations, algebra, geometry, measurement, data, and probability.
Grade 9
Math 9 (MA 9)
In Mathematics 9, students extend their understanding of number sense, algebra, geometry, measurement, and statistics while deepening their ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
Grade 10 (One of)
Foundations of Math and Pre-Calculus 10 (FMP 10)
In Foundations of Mathematics and Pre-Calculus 10, students strengthen their understanding of algebraic, geometric, measurement, and statistical concepts while developing fluency in problem-solving and mathematical reasoning.
Workplace Math 10 (WPM 10)
Workplace Math 10 focuses on problem-solving, financial literacy, measurement, and geometry, helping students apply mathematical reasoning to make informed decisions in real-world situations.
Grade 11 (One of)
Foundations of Math 11 (FOM 11)
In Foundations of Mathematics 11, students build on previous knowledge to explore concepts in logic, geometry, statistics, and financial mathematics.
Pre-Calculus 11 (PREC 11)
In Pre-Calculus 11, students deepen their understanding of algebraic concepts, quadratic functions, and trigonometry while developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Workplace Math 11 (WPM 11)
Workplace Math 11 emphasizes budgeting, measurement, data interpretation, and problem-solving, supporting students in developing confidence and sound reasoning when using mathematics in everyday situations.

Pre-Calculus 12 (PREC 12)
In Pre-Calculus 12, students extend their understanding of functions, trigonometry, and calculus concepts while developing advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
Calculus 12 (CALC 12)
In Calculus 12, students explore the concepts of limits, derivatives, and integrals to model and solve complex problems.
AP Calculus 12 (ACAL 12)
In AP Calculus 12, students engage deeply with differential and integral calculus, developing advanced problem-solving, analytical, and reasoning skills.
