Terry Fox Run - Sept. 23

On Friday, September 23, 2022 our school will be taking part in The Terry Fox National School Run. Many people today have a connection to someone who has cancer, so the run can be personal dedication to a friend or relative, in addition to being an important fundraiser for the community. 

Students will have the opportunity to discuss the heroic efforts of Terry Fox over the next week and raise funds to support his vision. All monies raised will be forwarded to the Terry Fox Foundation. Any amount of donation is greatly appreciated. Donations of $20.00 or more are issued a receipt from the Terry Fox Foundation.                    

For ease of collecting donations, we are encouraging online donations. You can donate online at http://www.terryfox.ca/RayShepherdElementary. The site is secure and receipts can be printed immediately upon completion of your donation. We will still be accepting cash or cheques made payable to The Terry Fox Foundation. 

*We cannot accept cheques made out to Ray Shepherd Elementary.                    

We are very pleased to be a part of this year’s Terry Fox Event as we encourage our students to develop a sense of community, goodwill, and school spirit.
