Assessments and Exams
The provincial exams formerly required for graduation have been replaced by three provincial assessments that focus on literacy and numeracy skills. While they are required for graduation, they are broad-based and not tied to a course mark.
Students write a numeracy and literacy assessment in their Grade 10 year and another literacy assessment in grade 12.
