Pink Shirt Day
In 2007, two Nova Scotia senior high school students witnessed a grade 9 boy being bullied for wearing a pink shirt. The next day, they bought 50 pink shirts and rallied together in pink, and Pink Shirt Day was born.
Surrey Traditional has their very own pink shirt design. You can order your STS Bulldog Pink T-Shirt for $8.50. Orders are due by February 11th. No late orders will be accepted.
Students will wear pink shirts or anti-bullying t-shirts to raise awareness on ways to prevent bullying. Students will participate in a variety of related discussions in their classrooms.
