Kindergarten Gradual Entry

Dear Kindergarten Families! 

We are looking forward to a wonderful kindergarten year with your child! The first day of school is Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025.  

We will be purchasing school supplies for your child and will provide them will all their supplies for the year for a cost of $45.00. If you wish to purchase these items yourself, please contact Ms. Runa or Mrs. Spencer.  

We kindly ask that payments be made through School Cash Online. The office will be available in class to assist parents with registration on the first day of school, and in the office any day after. If you prefer to register independently, please refer to the step-by-step guide provided. Items will be set up and ready to purchase on September 2nd, 2025, until then it will show no available items on your profile.  

To help the kindergarteners settle into their new routine, a gradual entry schedule will be set up. Information regarding the gradual entry schedule will be provided to families in June. Once available, it will also be posted on the school’s website: www.surreyschools.ca/schools/kirkbride. This will enable your child to come to school in small groups for shorter lengths of time for the first two weeks of school in September.
