Important Scheduling/Course Change Request Information!

Your schedule may change before the first day of the semester as counsellors work to balance schedules and classes. Grade 9-12 students must check your schedule on MyEdBC on the first day of school to ensure you are following the one most up to date. All Grade 8 students will receive their schedules in homeroom on the first day.

Course changes will be limited! 

Schedule changes will not be available for students in grade 8 or 9, unless there is one of the following reasons: 

1.       You have an incomplete schedule (less than 8 classes)
2.       You have an unbalanced schedule (3 or more academics in 1 semester)

No other requests can be considered. Please keep in mind we do our best to create schedules based on student requests. In some instances, students may be added to an elective they did not choose to accommodate making a balanced schedule that includes all the required courses. 

If you are in Grades 10 - 12, you may request a schedule change for the following reasons only: 

1.         You have an incomplete schedule (less than 8 classes) 
2.         If you have been given an incorrect class (ie. French11 without having French10)
3.         You have an unbalanced schedule (3 or more academics in 1 semester) 
4.         You are missing a course required for graduation 

We cannot make any other course changes. You may not get a reply if your request does not fall into 1 or more reasons listed. Counsellors will prioritize requests that fit the criteria.
