Gang Prevention Workshop for Newcomer Families

The Welcome Centre will be hosting, in collaboration with RCMP, a Gang Prevention Workshop on Tuesday May 14th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  

The session's goal is to equip parents with the knowledge to identify warning signs and risk factors of gang activity, equip them with the tools to talk to their kids about gangs, and to build stronger connections to keep them from joining gangs.

The workshop will be presented by the RCMP with translation service available in Tigrinya, Swahili and Somali.
