Learning Updates (report cards) and Summer Learning (summer school)
This Wednesday (April 24th), your child will be sent home with a printed copy of their semester 2 Learning Update (report card). It will also be available digitally on MyEdBC (contact the office if you need help logging in). It is important that you review the Learning Update together with your child and contact the school if you have questions.
Important information about Summer Learning (Summer School):
Registration is now OPEN. Although the school year is not yet over, some families may wish to register early for Summer Learning. Here is some information you should be aware of prior to registering your child for Summer Learning courses:
- Spaces fill fast; the deadline to register is June 23rd
- Not all courses are offered in Summer Learning - see the Summer Learning website for more information about courses that are offered
- Summer Learning is free for BC residents (only international students or students from out-of-province are required to pay fees).
- Parents/guardians can expect confirmation of registration to be sent via email within a few days of registering
- Remedial courses are now called "Preview/Review". These courses give students an opportunity to receive credit for a course for which they were not previously successful in.
- To be eligible for a Preview/Review course, the student must have already taken the course. Students who are looking to upgrade their mark should repeat the full course at their usual school the following year, or enroll in the full-credit course in Summer Learning
