LTSS Student Recognition

At Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary, we believe in celebrating the unique learning journey of every student. Our student recognition program is designed with the ethos of not only celebrating outstanding academic excellence but also honoring the diverse paths of learning each student embarks upon, leading to growth and achievement in diverse curricular areas. It is also designed with the First Peoples Principles in mind and will continue to evolve in a way that values student identity and experience, and students’ connectedness to the world around them. We know that learning is multifaceted, encompassing much more than just grades.

To further emphasize these values, we are excited to announce that we have added a NEW Core Competencies Award category to our student recognition program. These awards will be based on demonstrated growth in a Core Competency area across multiple curricular and/or extracurricular areas and will be application-based. Stay tuned for more information throughout the semester about how your child can apply for these awards.
