Dear Parents and Guardians,
You are warmly invited to attend our upcoming online PAC meeting on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 7:00 pm.
During this PAC meeting, we will introduce the Dry Grad Committee and share information for parents who are interested in joining the 2027 Dry Grad Committee.
Following the PAC meeting, we are pleased to present a special parent-focused session titled Success in First-Year University: Pro Tips for Parents. The transition from high school to university or college is an exciting — and sometimes challenging — time for both students and families. This informative session will provide practical, research-based strategies to help parents effectively support their students during this important first year.
We are delighted to welcome two experienced university professionals who bring decades of experience supporting undergraduate students:
- Michelle Sunderman – Associate Academic Advisor & Co-op Coordinator, Faculty of Forestry
- Christine Klaray – Director, Student Services, Faculty of Land and Food Systems
Whether your student is heading to university soon or you’re planning ahead, this presentation will provide valuable takeaways and reassurance for the journey ahead.
