Monthly Preschool Buddies Program bringing in families and their preschoolers
School-wide emphasis on Developing Readers bringing together the school in an effort to foster well-rounded and competent readers
Knights of Reading Program promoting a school wide reading emphasis
School community activities that focus on multiculturalism
Annual public speaking and science fair competition
Active participation in athletic and fine arts programs
Strong student leadership opportunities including active student council and peer mediation through our "Extreme Team"
Computer lab upgraded with technology integrated into classroom
A large, well-equipped computerized library with a library program
Collaborative relationship with an active and supportive Parent Advisory Council
Commitment to home/school communication links and partnerships
School-based assessment programs in numeracy and writing
Positive behaviour emphasised and reinforced through regular assemblies and school wide emphasis
