The Ministry of Education sets the education standards for students in grades K to 12.

Below you will find the courses that are being offered at L.A. Matheson Secondary for 2026-2027 school year.  Some courses may not actually be offered due to low enrollment.  

Course Selection Information

Course selection for the 2026-27 school year begins in January 2026 for students currently in grade 8 &9, in February for students currently in grade 10 & 11, and in March for students in grade 7. Course selection booklets will be updated at those times.

Please note that Choir 9-12 is also available as an X Block class. Please see Ms. Syed if you have any questions.
