First Day of School: Start Times

We are excited to welcome all students back to school on Tuesday, September 2nd for a short but meaningful first day. Students will attend for one hour only, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m

On this first day:

All students will return to their previous classroom teachers. For example, if your child was with Ms. Gill last year, they will go directly to Ms. Gill’s classroom.

Students who were in Kindergarten last year and are now in Grade One will go to Ms. Sahota’s classroom (Room One), located at the front of the school, adjacent to the main entry doors.

New students to Kirkbride Elementary are invited to visit the school office, where Ms. Pang, Ms. Roberts, and Mrs. R. Gill will warmly greet them and provide a guided tour of the school.

During this first hour, students will participate in some fun and welcoming back-to-school activities designed to help them reconnect with classmates, ease into the school routine, and start the year with positivity and excitement.

Grades 1-7: School starts on Sept. 2, 2025 at 10am. Classes will be dismissed early at 11:00 am.
