Aboriginal Story Project

Grade 7 Students of Aboriginal decent attending Guildford Park next year, were graciously invited to witness an Aboriginal Story Telling Ceremony by Grade 9 Students. The project involved interviewing an Aboriginal Elder two times, writing a story about their interview and creating a story box about their story. Some of the speakers include Aboriginal Vice Principal Gordan Powell, Aboriginal Child Care Worker, Shelley Saje Ricci, Elder Ray Thunderchild and many more. A wonderful gathering preparing our Grade 7 students for the future endeavors at Guildford Park Secondary.
