Volunteering at Hillcrest Elementary

We love having our parents volunteer at our school! Policies have changed and ALL volunteers must have a criminal record check done. Please click on THIS LINK to start the process!  Check your email for the follow up link to take you to the Criminal Record Check page to complete the process. If you are a community member but not a parent and would like to volunteer for educational or personal purposes, there is an application form you can obtain from our office as well. 


If you would like to be a volunteer driver for field trips or sports events, you must also do the following....

Once you have filled out the CRC request, make sure you:

1. Check your email for the follow up link to take you to the Criminal Record Check page... 

2. Go to ICBC. com - Your License, Driving Record to get a copy of your Driver's Abstract

3. Come in to our school office with your completed Volunteer Driver Form along with your Insurance Documents, Driver's License and Driver's Abstract for our office staff to clear you for driving. 


Your Criminal Record Check will be valid for 5 years, but the volunteer driver form and driver's abstract are valid only for the CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR, and will need to be repeated on a yearly basis.
