Young Entrepreneur Show

Ms. Sam and Mr. Howett have been teaching the PowerPlay Young Entrepreneurs program for the past month. Each Grade 7 student has created a product, a business plan and marketing strategy and hopes to sell his/her products at the trade show. They have learned a lot about the process of starting one's own business. In some cases they have obtained startup loans from their parents (which, of course, must be paid back according to their loan agreements!). They will be showcasing AND SELLING their products next Friday, May 11th from 8:45 - 1:00 in the gym. Prices generally range from about $1.00 to $5.00. At least 10% of profits will also go to charity (Imagine1Day in most cases). Classes will be visiting the fair and we will also be sending home notices next week, inviting all parents and students to attend. Hope to see you there!
