Our School

Frost Road Elementary is a Kindergarten to Grade 7 school and includes an Intensive French program at the Grade 6 and 7 levels. Frost Road is a multicultural, multilingual school with families representing countries all over the world and many English Language Learners in our student population.

At Frost Road, we have a dedicated and committed staff. Our staff works together to ensure Frost Road is a safe, caring and positive learning and working environment for the students and for each other. The staff provides wonderful learning opportunities for our students including supporting different leadership initiatives such as lunch monitors, announcements, photography team, library monitors, technology crew, equipment room crew, assembly emcees, spirit team leaders, recycling crew, sports teams, and a Grade 7 overnight camp.

At Frost Road we are fortunate to have an engaged and connected Parent Advisory Council (PAC). Our PAC plays a significant role in the creation of a strong home and school connection. Our PAC supports a wide variety of special events and our school benefits from parents' active involvement in areas including volunteering in the library, organizing fun lunches and regularly participating in an in-school reading program with our grade ones to support student literacy development, which significantly contributes to our positive school climate.

Our School Code of Conduct, "Respect Ourselves, Respect Others and Respect Property" is highly valued by staff and parents to help create a positive school climate. A rubric for respectful behaviour in our school, grounds, and community is posted in each classroom so students and staff share a common language of respect.
