Grade 7/8 Transition Program – Fleetwood Park Secondary

Our Grade 7/8 Transition Program supports students as they move from elementary to high school. 

Throughout Grade 7, students will visit Fleetwood Park several times to explore the school, participate in guided tours, and take part in activities designed to help them feel comfortable and connected before starting Grade 8.

Our goal is to ease the transition by introducing students to the school environment, available resources, and supportive staff. By building early connections and confidence, students are better prepared to develop healthy relationships and become responsible members of the Fleetwood Park community.

The program includes a grade-wide retreat early in the school year, along with a series of healthy-lifestyle presentations, engaging activities, and grade-wide field trips.
