Math 8 Honours Challenge Exam

The Math 8 Honours Challenge Exam will be held at Fleetwood Park on Thursday, May 18 at 3:30 pm in room A201.

• No advance studying needs to be done for this exam; we are looking for students who naturally have strong mathematical knowledge, understanding, and skills.
• There will be no other opportunity for a student to write the exam other than the above date/time.
• Students must bring only a pencil and an eraser - no calculators are allowed, and no other instruments are necessary.
• Placement decisions in Math 8 Honours will be based on these test results as well as consultation with elementary school teachers. Students who are in catchment will be given priority.
• The names of the students who will be offered a spot in Math 8 Honours will be communicated to the elementary schools by the end of May.  The elementary schools can then inform the successful students and/or parents.  (Parents should not call Fleetwood Park asking about the results and/or placements.)
