Enver Creek is partnering with the Blanket BC Society
BLANKET BC SOCIETY is a non-profit organization that continually collects and distributes blankets and warm clothing to shelter programs, families in need, emergency services, First Nations, and Indigenous communities. They raise awareness on homelessness, poverty, and social-economic issues while promoting volunteerism at an early age. We have been proudly serving our community for 16 years! We are here to support all people in need, especially as temperatures drop and shelters fill up quickly.
How can you help?
On Wednesday, December 15 @ Enver Creek Secondary, students can drop off their donations at the entrance of the school which will be collected by Blanket BC Society, washed and, distributed to the homeless population in our community helping them bear the cold winter nights.
What condition can the donated items be in?
New to slightly used.
What kind of donations are we looking for?
Blanket BC is accepting BLANKETS, SOCKS, TOQUES, MITTENS/GLOVES, MUFFLERS/SCARVES
What kind of donations are NOT ACCEPTED?
PILLOWS
