Coming up at Coyote Creek December 4th - December 8th

Hello Families of Coyote Creek,

What a wonderful week we have had at Coyote! We hope you are staying well and keeping warm. As the temperatures continue to drop, please be aware that our parking lots and sidewalks are slippery. Please avoid walking across the basketball court in the morning as it is icy.

Also we have noticed an increase in people parking in no parking zones, in particular the bike lanes. This is becoming a problem for students who ride their bikes or scooters to school. Please be respectful and park only in designated zones, so all our students stay safe.

Congratulations to the boys and girls volleyball teams on their successful play day! Thank you to Ms. Fontana, Mr. Johal, Mr. Stevens.

Multilingual Guides for Parents and Caregivers

New multilingual guides for parents and caregivers have been created to highlight the district’s many animated mental health videos. Available in EnglishFrenchPunjabiArabic and Chinese, the one-page information sheets provide an overview of the topics of the 8 videos, and include a QR code direct link to them. The guides also include examples of questions caregivers can ask to prompt important conversations with children and youth, as well as a list of diverse community resources should families require additional support.

Links to the new parent/caregiver guides, as well as all of the mental health videos can be found here under Video Resources.

Student Planners / Agendas

1694731937343.pngFamilies will be able to purchase planners sometime Friday, September 15th, using the District's School Cash Online system https://surreyschools.schoolcashonline.com/. Most divisions will use them, except for Kindergarten and a few other classes. Each morning the office will printout purchases from the day before, and provide planners to teachers for students who have purchased. Please note that some grade 7 teachers have the purchase as optional.
