BELL SCHEDULE FOR 2026-2027
| 8:20 am | Supervision on playground begins |
| 8:30 am | First bell for students |
| 8:35 am | Classes begin |
| 10:15 am | Recess |
| 10:30 am | Classes resume |
| 11:50 am | Start of Lunch - Outside time |
| 12:15 pm | Lunch bell - come inside to eat |
| 12:30 pm | Classes resume |
| 2:30 pm | Students are dismissed |
| 2:45 pm | Supervision on playground ends |

Reporting Student Absences/Lates
If your child will be absent or late, please email chimneyhill@surreyschools.ca whenever possible. You may also call 604-592-2913.
When reporting an absence, please include:
- Your child’s first and last name
- Division number or teacher’s name
- The reason for the absence
Phone messages can be left on our voicemail at any time, day or night.
As we are a large school, we appreciate families taking a moment to send an email or leave a clear message with all the necessary details.
School Closures
From time to time classes may have to be cancelled temporarily for various reasons. Parents are advised to listen to radio stations CKNW (dial 980 AM) News 1130 (dial 1130 AM) or CBC (dial 690 AM) for information about the cancellation of classes.
