Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! Volunteers play an important role in supporting students, schools, and educational opportunities throughout the district. The following steps explain how to become an approved Surrey Schools volunteer.

Volunteer Application Forms

Depending on your role, you may be asked to complete one of following application forms:

• Volunteer - for general volunteers supporting school activities.
• Volunteer Driver - for volunteers who transport students as part of a school activity or field study.
• Volunteer/Community Coach - for volunteer coaches participating in school athletic programs.

You may complete the applicant sections of the form and bring it to your school. School staff will complete the verification and approval sections.

Forms are also available from your school office.

Approved volunteer forms remain valid until the beginning of the next school year. A new application form must be submitted each school year.

Apply early: We encourage volunteers to contact their school early in the school year to help ensure that application approvals are completed well before planned volunteer activities begin.
