What your child needs for the Winter concert

December 14th Concert Information

Dear Parents,

Below is some information for you regarding the Winter concert on:

December 14th, at 1:00 and 6:30 pm.

STUDENTS NEED TO BE BACK AT SCHOOL AT 6:00 PM SHARP, AND COME TO THEIR CLASSES EXTERIOR DOOR

The students here at school are working hard to prepare their presentations in singing, dancing, recorder and ukulele.  The office will be sending home information about tickets very soon.  We are so looking forward to having you in the building for this event!

Here is what students across the grades need to prepare, in terms of an outfit for their presentation:

Kindergarten and K/1 class:

-students can dress up nicely, trying to wear red, green or white if possible.

Dresses, shirts, Christmas sweaters are all welcome.

Grade 1/2 and 2 classes:   (Benjamin, Ruskowski and Lightbody/McKenzie)

Students should dress like reindeer:

-reindeer antlers (can purchase at a dollar store)

-thin black gloves for hooves (also a a dollar store)

-try to dress in brown clothing, if possible, and if you have no brown, then a black or white top would be fine

Grade 2/3 and 3:  (Knapp, Tingstad)

Students should dress Hawaiian:

-girls:  grass skirts and leis (both at dollar stores), t-shirts, or tank tops, summery shoes, hair down, if possible, with maybe a flower tucked behind the ear, etc.

-boys:  hawaiian print shirt or t-shirt, flower lei, shorts (pants are fine too), sunglasses on head maybe... any "summery" look is fine!

Grade 3/4 and 4:  (Ykema, Stoklossa)

-Santa hats, and clothing in red, green or white (tops) and dark coloured pants

-try to avoid large writing on shirts - plain is better

Grade 5, 5/6 (Norris, Gessey, Roberts/Sidhu) - these classes are singing one song, and also playing recorder

-Santa hats, and clothing in red, green or white (tops) and dark coloured pants

-try to avoid large writing on shirts - plain is better

Grade 6, 6/7, 7 (Viens, McDonald, Dickinson)

-these classes are performing ukulele songs separately from each other.

-clothing in red, green or white (tops) and dark coloured pants

Choir:

-white shirts and black bottoms (skirts, pants, etc).

-students may have to change their clothes during the evening and will have time for this

Thank you so much for your help and we can't wait to see you at the concert!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Fast
