Bugz - Primary Spring Musical
Costume Help Wanted
Surrey Centre will be putting on a Kindergarten-Grade 3 Musical "Bugz" on Wednesday, May 2 at 12:45pm. Parent volunteers are needed to help with costumes for our Grade 3 cast members. Sewing skills, while an asset, are not necessary as we are working with a very limited budget and creativity is required. Please keep looking back at the school website as we ask for specific donations from our parent community to help offset costs. For example: 2 of our grade 3 cast members will need yellow jackets as they are "yellow jackets" in the musical "Bugz." If you have a yellow jacket that you could donate or loan to the school, please bring it to the front office.
There will be a meeting for all parents interested in helping with costumes on Wednesday, April 4 at 11:45am in the music room.
If you are interested in being involved, but cannot make the meeting, please send an email to Adrienne Skibbe at
and you will be kept updated on our progress. Thank you!
What to do - and what NOT to do - when using social media.
March 14, 2018
Grades 5-7 students listen to a presentation from SD36 Safe Schools department about how to stay safe online and how to be a good digital citizen when using social media. First rule - make sure your parents are aware of who you are talking to and what you are posting and viewing.
