Young Blood for Life
Whose school will save the most lives?
Last year more than 18,500 teenagers gave blood at Canadian Blood Services donor clinics. Today we're challenging young donors to conitue that lifesaving trend and to recruit even more donors so we can keep pace with the need for blood in Canada.
Young Blood for LIfe
is a program just for young Canadians
that call on student leaders in high schools to inspire their peers, teachers and families to give blood. There's a competition, The National Challenge, for schools to see who can give the most. You're not only saving lives, but the winning school will receive cash prizes to help with school activities.
Donors can start signing up as a member of our school group now by using this link
Note: the YBFL number is our school's ID number for the program
Dry Grad Bottle Drive
The Dry Grad Committee is needing your help. They need to collect all the empty bottles and cans they can get! There is an ongoing bottle drive taking place at SurDel Bottle Depot on 8962 Holt Road (Surrey). Take in your bottles there and have them credit the "L.A. Matheson 2016" account. Please tell your neighbours, family and friends. We appreciate your support!
