Kirkbride Rockin' Readers Program
The Rockin' Readers Program at Kirkbride is designed to promote daily reading for students at home.  Each month students are asked to read for at least 20 minutes and have a parent/caregiver sign the form for each day that they complete this.  The goal is to read for at least 20 minutes each day for at least 25 days out of the month.  A monthly reading log is sent home at the beginning of each month and it is asked that students bring it back at the end of each month.  Forms that are brought back will be entered into a draw and one student from each division will win a free book.  The winning student's pictures are taken and placed on the bulletin board by the front office.  Each month's reading log will feature a different reading strategy for students to focus on while they are reading.  Parents/caregivers are encouraged to help their child try these strategies as they reinforce strong reading habits.  We hope that we can reach our goal of 100% participation in this program.  Happy Reading!
