Our School Plan
There will be a PAC Meeting on Friday April 20th at 8:30am in the staff room.
Join the Green Timbers Elementary Cancer Cops Team!
We are very excited to announce that
Green Timbers Elementary
will be participating as a school team for our third year at RBC Race for the Kids on Sunday, June 3, 2018.
This wonderful event is held annually as a part of the BC Children's Hospital's Miracle Weekend Telethon and raises funds for childhood cancer programs in addition to mental health initiatives at BC Children's Hospital. Chances are most of us have been touched by the life-saving care of BC Children's Hospital.
This year's event takes place on Sunday, June 3
at 9:00 a.m. in Vancouver at Queen Elizabeth Park. It is a fantastic family event, where participants run or walk a 5 km or 2 km Fun Run, followed by a carnival for the kids including live music, face painting, crafts, games, and fresh fruits and veggies.
It is easy to register at bcchf.ca/race and register your family. Make sure to select 'Join a Team' and sign up as a part of the
Green Timbers Elementary Cancer Cops
team. If you want to have our school name printed on your RBC Race for the Kids t-shirt, make sure to register before May 14
