Policy 5207 - Closure of Schools Under Emergent Conditions
| The School Act enables the Surrey Board of Education to temporarily close a school building if the health or safety of the students is endangered. The board authorizes the superintendent of schools to order temporary closure of school buildings under the Act. Regulations accompanying this policy clarify the procedures for such closures. |
