Policy 2601 - Board-Staff Communications


1.

POLICY STATEMENT

1.1.The success of any school system requires effective communication between the board of education and its staff. The Superintendent, as professional leader of the staff and Chief Executive Officer of the Surrey Board of Education, will establish avenues to ensure that such channels exist. Similarly, the Superintendent will ensure that trustees are kept informed of all matters necessary for the board to properly exercise its public trust.
