PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

International Baccalaureate Junior (8-10)

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) is designed for students aged 11 to 16. Its aim is to provide an academic challenge that encourages students to understand the connections between traditional subjects and the real world, as well as to become critical and reflective thinkers. Students who complete the IB MYP are well-prepared to undertake the IB Diploma Programme (DP)

International Baccalaureate Senior (11-12)

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) was established with the aim of providing students with a well-rounded education while promoting international understanding and mobility. This two-year programme is available to students in grades 11 and 12, and offers a challenging and enriched curriculum.

The IB DP is designed to provide students with an accelerated program of studies, and offers the opportunity to earn university course credits. Many universities recognize the high quality of the IB DP, and students who successfully complete the programme are often granted preferred admission and sometimes even second-year entry to university.

The IB DP is known for its academic rigor and balanced approach to education. It emphasizes the importance of intellectual, social, emotional, and physical well-being, and is highly respected by universities around the world. Through the IB DP, students are encouraged to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and to become lifelong learners who are prepared to make positive contributions to their communities.
