Sports Day Important Information

Important information regarding Sports Day tomorrow, Friday, June 13th. 

Sports Day events start right at 8:30am. Please have your child arrive to school on time. Once attendance is taken, all students will be heading outside and may not be with their teachers or classmates throughout the day. If your child will be late or absent, please contact the school by 8:00am. 

This also applies to students who need to leave early. Contact the office to advise by 8:00am if picking up your child early. Once the day's festivities start, it will be very difficult to find your child outside with all of the events. 

In addition to the the Grade 7 Popcorn sales for $1.00, these are the items that will be offered at the cash only concession from 9:45-2:00pm outside the gym doors:

• TCBY frozen yogurt - 3 flavours $3
• Chips, drinks, candy - assorted flavours/types for each $1
• Freezies $1
• Cookies $1
• Cheese or Pepperoni Slice $3 Pizza Inside Gym from 11:30-sell out

Parents, we recommend coming ahead of recess and lunch to beat the crowds if you are coming to purchase for your children. Be respectful of the volunteers who are giving their time to help out and missing watching their own kids in the events of Sports Day.

Please ensure your children are prepared with the following: 

Proper footwear, hat's, sunscreen, water, snacks & full lunches. Costumes encouraged and dress for the weather (layers). Parents are also welcome to attend Sports Day.
