South Asian Healing Network

South Asian Healing Network (SAHN = meaning "breath"): working towards mental wellness for South Asian Youth within the communities of Surrey and Delta. 

We run a peer support network and run workshops around different themes around South Asian challenges and celebrations. 

We are currently looking for more participants to join our cohorts in order to help youth create their own "villages". 

We also have an upcoming social event  with Michael Bains, author of "Hooped", who is a local to Surrey and discusses the conflicts within youth around gang violence, family dynamics, and substance and addiction abuse and trauma. This social will mainly highlight South Asian creativity, discipline, success, and positive developments growing as a youth in Surrey.
