Fundraising alert! Support Woodland Park Elementary with donations to replace student supplies!

Following the recent fire at Woodland Park Elementary, Surrey Schools is appealing to the public for donations to support students and staff with the replacement of student supplies – from pens and pencils to construction paper and scissors, and everything in between.

While the extent of damage to the school is still being assessed, it is expected that many students and teachers will have lost supplies to the fire, creating a sudden need for classroom materials in the community.

While all contributions are appreciated, cash, online and gift card donations are especially helpful as they allow the school to purchase exactly what is needed. Your donation will support the purchase of student school supplies, classroom and office supplies and indoor gym shoes for kindergarten to Grade 3 students.

How You Can Help

Monetary donations can be made through SchoolCashOnline (please select “Surrey School District” and include “Woodland Park Supplies” in the message), by emailing donations@surreyschools.ca or by calling 604-595-6066. Surrey Schools is a registered Canadian Charity with the Canada Revenue Agency and every donation above $20 is eligible for a tax receipt.

In-person donations of cash, debit or credit can also be made at the District Education Centre (DEC), located at 14033 92nd Ave., at the main reception desk.

Donations of brand new student supplies can also be dropped off at DEC. Please do not drop off donations at the school as they have limited space and capacity.
