Principals Message - August 2023
Welcome to the start of the 2023-2024 school year. I hope you all had a restful summer which included time with your loved ones and friends. September is always an exciting time as we look forward to a new year full of possibilities, opportunities and learning. Welcome back to our returning Cougars and a most sincere welcome to our new Enver Creek students! Our school staff are excited to be back and to work and learn with you. On a personal note, I would like to thank the Enver Creek community and I look forward to working alongside our staff, students, families, and the PAC again this year.
Typically, at this time of the year families and students have many questions. Please be assured your child will be coming into a safe, caring and loving Enver Creek environment. You can always contact us at the school through a phone call, email or please come in and make an appointment to speak with us in person. As we reach out in this newsletter, we hope to communicate the information that is necessary to get the school year started off positively. I hope you can find time as a family to go through this newsletter and discuss the information that is relevant to your child/children.
At Enver Creek we are committed to providing rich, deep learning opportunities that develop the young people in our community as a whole: intellectually, socially and emotionally. To our students, I remind you that learning is an active, continuous process. Approach your daily learning with a positive mindset and attitude and I know our staff will be here to support you. To our parents and guardians, learning is a collaborative process which includes support from both the school and home. Please continue to stay connected and communicate with us at the school. Working together will provide the best opportunities for your children. I am confident that both our students and their families are in for a great year. Go Cougars!
