Remembrance Day Assembly on Friday, Nov. 7 at 10:45 AM (GYM) All Families Invited

Dear Creekside Families,

You are cordially invited to attend Creekside Elementary’s Remembrance Day Assembly on Friday, November 7, at 10:45 a.m. in the school gymnasium. This assembly provides an opportunity for our school community to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who served and to honour their legacy of peace.

Please attached pdf for the Remembrance Day Program.
  • Captain Palak, Div. 2, 4, 9, 10, 11 and 12 will be presenting.

About Remembrance Day:
Observed on November 11 each year, Remembrance Day marks the end of World War I in 1918 and honours the men and women who have served in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping. It is a time for reflection, gratitude, and commitment to building a peaceful future.

To maintain the dignity of this solemn occasion, we kindly request the following:

  • Attire: Please dress in black and white as a sign of respect.
  • Conduct: We ask that there be no clapping during the program in order to preserve an atmosphere of reverence and reflection.

Poppy Donations:
Poppies will be available at the school office for a small donation. All proceeds support the Royal Canadian Legion in honouring veterans and their families.

The assembly will feature student presentations and moments of silence to commemorate those who have served. We invite all families to join us in observing a moment of silence together during the program.

Thank you for your support in making this a meaningful event.
