Ultimate Frisbee

Ultimate Frisbee Season Information

Ultimate Frisbee season runs in April, offering students a chance to develop their skills in this fast-paced, non-contact sport that emphasizes teamwork and strategy.

During Ultimate Frisbee practice, students focus on improving their throwing techniques, including forehand, backhand, and hucks, as well as learning how to catch and position themselves for strategic plays. Agility, stamina, and speed are key components, as players need to move quickly across the field while maintaining control of the frisbee. The sport also builds important teamwork and communication skills, as players must collaborate and make split-second decisions. Additionally, Ultimate fosters sportsmanship and respect for others, as it is played with a strong emphasis on fairness and self-refereeing.
