Coming Up at Coyote Creek September 5th-8th

Back to School 2023-2024

A very warm welcome back to our families at Coyote Creek! We hope that you have had an enjoyable and restful summer and a chance to connect with family and friends. We are looking forward to welcoming you and your child(ren) back to the school next week. We understand that heading back to school is very exciting, but can also be an anxious time - we want to let all of our families know that we are committed to fostering safe learning spaces for all of our students.

Opening Week Information and Grade Group Meeting Spots

Next week on Tuesday, September 5th students will attend from 10:00am to 11:00am. Students will come to school for a one-hour period and they will be in grade groups for the duration of this time. When you come to the school, each grade will meet at their designated grade group area on the school grounds. You will see a large sign with your child’s grade on it. There is also a map attached to this post to help you locate where each grade group will meet. Staff will come out to greet students and families at 10:00am, and then take students into the school for opening day activities. At 11:00am, staff will dismiss students outside in the same place as they were dropped off.

These locations will be the drop off and pick up locations for the entire week, until we confirm the number of students at Coyote Creek and the district approves the class organization.

On Wednesday, September 6th it is a regular full day of school with class beginning at 8:35 am and dismissal at 2:27 pm.

School Supplies

There is no need to bring a backpack, lunch, or school supplies on the first day of school.

Students will receive instructions from their grade group teachers for when they should bring in supplies.

All students should bring a backpack, a snack and lunch, and a water bottle on Wednesday, September 6th as it will be a full day of school (8:35am-2:27pm).
