Family Day February 19th - School is not in session
BC Family day is a provincial statutory holiday. British Columbians celebrate Family Day on the third Monday of February. To celebrate, the B.C. government provides funding for free Family Day activities. BC Family Day gives families the opportunity to spend time with their loved ones. This year, the B.C. government is partnering with the BC Recreation and Parks Association and the BC Museums Association to fund free virtual and in-person Family Day activities across the province during the Family Day weekend. this ensures that the celebrations are accessible to everyone.
